Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property was very close to Umeda station. There were lots of opportunities for eating out and shopping. The room was larger than other rooms we have had in Japan, but the bed was quite small for two larger people. The spa seemed nice but we didn’t visit.

Negative: The property is directly opposite a gambling place so the area feels very seedy. There are other much nicer areas to stay in Osaka. The breakfast only has limited Japanese options (mostly smoked fish) and is quite expensive. Unless that is something you are into for breakfast, I would recommend eating out instead.

Summary: Fine, but not a nice area.
