Positive: The host, João is great and he provided us all the details, before the check in and during the stay. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean, actually it was above my expectation. As an example, each apartment has a dedicated laundry machine and not one shared with all the tenants. The kitchen looks quite new and has everything that is needed, including a dish washing machine with cleaning tablets. The pool is great with warm water, just perfect to enjoy it no matter the time of day.

Negative: Although the property is not far from the beach, it is more convenient to go with the car, especially if you go with the kids and/or plan to take things with you, like beach umbrellas, which are quite popular on the public beach areas in Algarve. There are restaurants near but if the stay is longer then again, a car is needed to visit all of them. I had a rented car so all these things were not an issue for my family.
