Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A beautiful house located within a large domain with a view to the Douro river. Accessible by car and an easy drive to both Porto (15 minutes) and the Douro Valley (1 hour and 15 minutes), with ample parking. Our guide in Porto told us this was one of the best locations to stay in around the city. The house is well-equipped and clean. The 2 bedrooms are identical with a comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom. Laundry machine on site. The host, Sebastiao, lives on tbe domain and is always available to help with a smile.

Negative: Not something we didn’t like, but an FYI that you must use Google Maps to find the house.
