Generous sized spaces flowing seamlessly to outside areas. Under covered outside seating area leading to gas Barbequeue patio all sitting under our large two hundred year old oak tree. A large garden housing a trampoline. Second lawn and garden looked onto from the entertainment area. 10m x 5m solar heated Pool on sunken level with sun lounges. We have installed a gym inside the house as well as a Media room.
Main bedroom is ensuite and leads onto a private balcony. Three further upstairs bedrooms Each with their own en suite bathrooms, 2 of them leading onto balconies. Positioned between all 4 bedrooms is the pyjama Lounge/tv room which leads onto a chill-out balcony with hanging chairs under pergola and oak tree. All upstairs rooms are air conditioned and have underfloor heating.
Downstairs there is a formal lounge/dining room with a 14 seater dining table and wood fireplace. Sliding and stacking doors open the room up to the outside. Fully fitted kitchen, scullery and pantry with all mod cons and appliances available. Informal Lounge/tv room off kitchen, and a fifth bedroom en suite with access to outside patio and garden.
There is a garage for 2 cars, With direct access into the house.
Easy to use and perfect for entertaining, a home that is most suitable for families looking for a space to relax, share and enjoy.
We hand over keys and leave the guests in peace, but available 24/7 for any queries or concerns.
Fresnaye is a quiet, wind free suburb within 5-10 minutes of the Cbd, V&a Waterfront and our beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches.
When the summer South Easter winds are pumping throughout the Cape, Fresnaye is one of the few areas to escape the wind, conveniently sheltered by our Lions Head Mountan.
Aside from a solar geyser and solar heating for the pool, there is a solar electrical feed with a backup solution over power outages and load shedding.
There is a housekeeper on site that works Mon - Friday full days. She knows the house inside out and is great with kids. Gardner and pool minder twice a week will keep the outside in tiptop shape.

Although the house lends itself to a great entertaining flow, we request that consideration is given to the fact that the neighborhood is family orientated and the guest understands that loud noise and parties after 12:00pm could be problematic if not respectfully contained.
1. No smoking inside the property.
2. Strictly no additional guests unless arranged with host.
3. Housekeeper and gardener are complimentary due to having worked for family very long. This is however not a given that they will be available during your stay. If they are off for any reason, we will endeavor to let guests know in advance.
4. Housekeeper duties include cleaning house and doing bedroom and bathroom laundry. Guests are welcome to request their laundry done by the housekeeper - there will be a small charge directly to the housekeeper for this. The housekeeper is also available for babysitting - please check with her for the agreed hourly rate.
5. Chest Freezer in the garage are for staff only.
6. No loud noise after 12pm
7. Open fires at property never to be left unattended
Grace, our housekeeper knows the house inside and out and is there for any questions. Although discreet, I am sure that you will find her a pleasure to have around, and the extra babysitting and laundry services a great convenience. A tip for her is encouraged at the end of your stay to show your appreciation.
