Positive: Ken’s house is so beautiful, modern, clean and so much space! Such a luxurious bathtub and bathroom. This place has everything you need incl handy laundry facilities, amazing kitchen and equipment to cook your own meals, and complimentary drinks in the fridge. We loved the little pool. It was warm enough in late May to swim at night looking up at the stars. The quiet residential neighbourhood is nice for a change from the Hirara area. It’s not far to drive to main area. There are 3 restaurants within 3min drive, or about 10min walk. Neighbour across the road was lovely. Cute cats roam the street.

Negative: Two tiny “small double” beds cannot fit two Westeners, they’re just too small, also quite hard. My partner and I had to sleep in separate beds, as we didn’t get much sleep the first night trying to share one bed. There’s also a high pitched alarm at front door which we found really irritating. I think it was to deter the cats. It is not needed imo. Other than those two small points though, everything was perfect.

Summary: It’s so big, beautiful and modern!
