This traditional Tuscan country house dates back to the seventeenth century and was originally built as a farm manager's house with wine cellars, stables and a hayloft for the Mansi-Bernardini estate. It has been tastefully converted into a villa with pretty countrystyle bedrooms on different levels and modern bathrooms and kitchen. The result is a farmhouse of a high standard situated on top of a hill, east of Lucca, with magnificent views over the plain below. The swimming pool is in a breathtaking position about 150 metres from the house. By the side of the pool there is a cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. There is a tennis court on the estate. The house has satellite TV, DVD and hi-fi system. The maid who takes care of the villa is also an excellent cook and, on request, she will cook local dishes for clients. Fattoria Mansi Bernardini office, on the estate, with English speaking staff, is at clients' disposal to give assistance.
