Positive: Fabulous 'new' building with all mod-cons. Apartment was very spacious and light with all the appliances (including a kettle and a toaster). Very comfortable seating area, smart TV, air con - power blinds a balcony to sit out on in the evening a washer dryer. Access to swimming pools on the roof an indoor and outdoor gym along with a barbecue 'kitchen' and a teeny tiny chapel. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us, particularly at breakfast time. Breakfast was a feast with 4 courses on offer (if you wanted to eat that much). We stayed for a week and were offered a complimentary trip to the owners vin yard, where we were treated like royalty and enjoyed free wine and food along with transport to local sights - absolutely amazing and no strings attached!

Negative: Only downside is the location, you need transport to explore the area. Although the local transport links are good and we easily arranged a trip to Porto on public transport and Uber.
