About the Home This four bedroom plus den, multi-level ski-in-ski-out chalet is tucked amongst the trees, high on the south side of Whistler Mountain in the exclusive Taluswood Heights neighbourhood in Creekside. Living Areas From the welcoming entrance foyer of the home, head down a short flight of stairs to the spacious open concept main living area that features a vaulted ceiling, a gas assisted wood burning fireplace and majestic views of the Peak on Whistler Mountain and the Olympic Downhill course. The living room features a flat screen TV and stereo and just off to the side a mini-bar area perfect for when entertaining friends and family. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel Sub-zero and Miele appliances, granite counters and a breakfast bar that overlooks the dining room that seats 8 comfortably. Off the dining room is the spacious deck with BBQ and scenic views. The private outdoor hot tub is located on the lower level deck in a forested setting. Bedrooms & Bathrooms The master bedroom is located on the top floor up a short flight of stairs from the entrance foyer. It features a queen bed, flat screen TV and a private balcony. Also located on this top floor is the den that features a twin bunk bed - perfect for the kids. The separate shared and very spacious bathroom on this level features a deep soaker tub, separate glass enclosed shower and double vanity. The other three guest bedrooms are located on the lower floor of the home. The first bedroom features two twin bunk beds. The second bedroom features a queen bed and flat screen TV. These two bedrooms share access to a spacious bathroom with double vanity and a bathtub with overhead shower. The third bedroom features king split bed and a flat screen TV. For added comfort, there is a guest powder room on the main level. Ski Access For the winter enthusiast, this home offers access to the nearby Dave Murray ski trail and 2010 Olympic downhill run, which descends to the Creekside Gondola. Please note that the Dave Murray ski-out trail is suitable for an intermediate level skier and is not well-suited for beginners. The signed entrance to the ski-out is found next to Taluswood the Heights #1. At the end of this trail, you will need to take off your skis/snowboard to cross the road, from where you will continue to ski down the Lower Dave Murray Downhill run to get to the Creekside Gondola. The Ski-Home trail is located off the Lower Dave Murray Downhill run. Watch for the Green Olympic rings on skier's right when descending Dave Murray, turning right, above the Olympic Rings, onto the Home Run trail. Follow this trail (skiing above the Fairmont Heritage Place) to Taluswood the Lookout complex, from where it is a 1-minute walk down Taluswood Place (road) to the Taluswood the Heights complex.
