Summary: We had a wonderful week at the Quinta de Santiago country house. It is such a beautiful villa and grounds and is both modern and homely. Ricardo was super helpful, showing us the local area when we arrived and allowing us to get our bearings. He was full of suggestions for great days out as well. Really close by car to Penafiel, an easy walk to the train station which is 40 minutes to Porto and easy enough to explore the wider areas. Our daughter loved the pool and the privacy throughout was much appreciated. Would recommend to all.
