Positive: The hosts were amazing. We were walking the Via Francigena when we got caught in a very bad storm. They came and picked us up, laundered all our wet clothing, cleaned and dried our boots and gave us a very hearty dinner including homemade hot vegetable soup in front of a lovely warm fireplace. They bent over backwards to ensure we were well looked after. Such amazing and kind people.
