Summary: I booked this ryokan as it was the most price friendly. The owners were super friendly and helpful, even though we had to talk through google translate as my japanese wasnt good enough. As others mentioned the stairs down to the hot springs (ast least for the female side) felt a bit dungeon-y. But the hot springs were amazing. The room was a bit older and you could tell there was some normal wear and tear from over the years but if i would definitely recommend it.
