Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Stayed with family and we really enjoyed our stay, clean rooms and facilities, great shower, comfortable mattresses, good hot breakfast, quieter hotel ideal for unwinding at end of day. Onsite onsen and free laundry a bonus. Run by Australians, all the staff were friendly and helpful, provided pick up and drop off to nearby Myoko Kogen train station and great care and follow up when I got injured from the snow.

Negative: Shared bathrooms rather than private ensuite in rooms - although was clean and generally available with no issues. The onsen and communal space to hang out with friends is smaller/basic relative other larger hotels but suited us fine, enjoying the quieter space.

Summary: Superb hotel, very clean and comfortable, excellent service. Highly recommended.
