Negative: Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during our stay that made the experience less satisfactory. Air conditioning: The air conditioning did not work during our entire stay, even though it was a crucial reason for booking the place. With temperatures reaching 30 degrees at night, this was unacceptable, and we considered finding alternative accommodation. Internet: The internet connection was very unstable, as there was only a 4G router that often became overloaded in the evenings. The speed was only 10-20mbit, which was insufficient for a family of four. Basement door: The basement door did not work, so if it was accidentally closed, we had to go around the building and past the pool. Apartment: Two door handles (one for the bathroom and one for the bedroom) were loose and about to fall off. PIN code for keys: We did not receive the necessary PIN code for key collection before our arrival. Vacuum cleaner: The vacuum cleaner did not work. Terrace: The terrace was not cleaned before our arrival and everything was covered with a thin layer of dust. We had to start out our stay by cleaning the furniture and floors. Communication: When we contacted the rental place via the booking.com app in English, they always replied in Italian. This was inconvenient and inflexible. Garbage area: In the garbage area waste was lying on the ground. It was not cleaned up in the whole period we were there; it attracted birds and likely mice and rats. This was disgusting and unacceptable. The sanitary bin: The bin in the toilet had not been emptied before our arrival at the hotel, and therefore there were old sanitary pads in it which smelled.
