Our 4-bed room on the ground floor can be reached directly from the fireplace room. There are two bunk beds and the guests have their own bathroom. Right next to the door there is a guest toilet in the fireplace room. On request, the beds can also be rented separately. Including breakfast.
The da Silva Surf Camp is just right for people who want to relax and escape the stress of the big city. It is ideal for families with children. Around the house is mainly a lot of rustic nature. You can make wonderful walks on the dirt roads. On the other side of the valley lies the typical farming village "Zambujeira". There is nothing else besides a small café and a mini grocery store. But it is well worth a visit, as it is still very original there. Once a year, sometime in August, there is a big village festival, for even the great-grandmothers make it chic again. If you want to go out in the evening, you have to go to Praia da Areia Branca or to Peniche, but we'll take you there with our shuttle bus. So you do not have to worry, you will not get bored.

In the immediate vicinity of Casal da Murta is Praia da Areia Branca, a typical seaside resort of the Portuguese.
Luckily, there are only a few hotels or holiday resorts here, but there is still a lot going on in August on the beach, as many Portuguese from the area come for a swim. There is a lifeguard who looks to the right, and hundreds of typical beach tents that you can rent for a small fee. Some beach sections are guarded by professional lifeguards during the summer. If you want to escape this hustle and bustle, you only have to walk one or two bays along the beach, and then you have another bay for yourself. In Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with many small cafes and good restaurants. The place is particularly suitable for families with young children, as there is a very nice and manageable nightlife and the contact with the locals is very easy. The express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops almost every hour in this place. The county town of Lourinhã with large supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, health center, pharmacies, post office and bank is just 3 km away. Praia da Areia Branca is only 15 km south of the port city of Peniche, whose beaches are the best surfing area in Europe. The waves of the legendary Surfspots Supertubos or Lagido are ridden by surfers from all over the world. Our shuttle bus will take you to the best waves and beautiful beaches in the area. Some of the nearby bays are so-called Secret Spots, whose location is reluctant to be divulged by locals (local surfers).
Location and arrival:
The surf camp is 65 km north of Lisbon.
The journey from Lisbon airport to us is very easy! There is a shuttle bus to the bus station and from there an express bus that stops right in our village. At the bus stop we pick you up and bring you directly to us in the surf camp. But we also like to pick you up at any time from the airport in Lisbon or take you there. This makes sense especially if your flight takes place outside the travel times of the express bus. Price on request. We offer a daily shuttle to the nearest supermarket and of course the beach. Bicycles can be borrowed free of charge from us. Thus one is quite mobile with us even without own car.

If you want, you can learn surfing fast and safely from local surfers and get an intense impression of the Portuguese way of life and culture. The "surfing" is an exciting game with the forces of nature. At the same time, it is in absolute harmony with nature. We want to give you the "Spirit of Surfing", which stands for harmony among the surfers, respect for nature, the ocean and the culture of the country.
