Summary: The room was lovely and comfortable, and oh so quiet. I enjoyed eating my breakfast on the balcony in the sun, which I prepared in the shared kitchen. The downside is only that you are quite far out from Sintra and even further away from Lisbon. If you don't rent a car (which would be better), public transportation is doable, but it will take a lot of your time, as I found out!
