This charming apartment called "Melograno" (120m2) is located in a typical Tuscan farmhouse which nestles peacefully in the foothills of Cortona. Immersed in the beautiful landscape of the Valdichiana valley, it enjoys lovely views over hilltop villages, sunflowers, olive groves and cypresses. It is conveniently located for those wishing to visit Tuscany and Umbria and offers the perfect combination of both a relaxing and a cultural holiday.
The farmhouse which dates from the 19th century has been recently restored and care has been taken to preserve its original features such as terracotta floors, beams and fireplaces.
The pool (12 x 6m) is spacious and the well-kept gardens with plenty of garden furniture and barbecues offer pleasant areas for relaxing.

The "Melograno"apartment is tastefully furnished in a traditional Tuscan style with chestnut furniture and terracotta floors. On the ground floor is the spacious living room with fireplace, open-plan kitchen, dining area, double sofa bed and SAT TV satellite (foreign channels). There is also a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. A further double bedroom, a twin-bedded room and bathroom are located on the 1st floor.
Central heating and parking.
The apartment has a private covered area with table and chairs where you can eat outside.
There is a fully-equipped laundry room on the ground floor of the farmhouse for guests to use.
Beautiful walks, golf and horse-riding are all in the vicinity. Ordinary bikes and mountain bikes are available for the guests' use. The railway station at Camucia and the nearest shops and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away (1 km).
The ancient Etruscan town of Cortona with its rich historic and artistic heritage is only 3 km away and offers a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
The medieval hilltop towns of Perugia, Siena, Assisi, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Pienza, Rapolano and Bagno Vignoni are less than 40 km away.
Lake Trasimeno with its numerous sporting facilities and restaurants is a short drive away.
Good motorway links make Florence, Rome and Naples easily accessible.
